Job Title

Deck Plate Supervisor


Norfolk, VA

The Shipyard Shop Supervisor will be responsible for repair projects on vessels. The ideal candidate for this role must have strong leadership skills and the capability to sustain the physical demands of the shipyard. 


  • At least 5 years of shipyard experience (either in new construction or ship repair)
  • Experience in government and commercial work in dry dock vessel repairs preferred.
  • Capable of overseeing various ship projects to include Navy, Military Sealift Command, USCGC, Army, and commercial work.
  • Must have working knowledge of welding codes: AWS, ASME, MIL-STD, AISC, and ABS.
  • Knowledge of welding and fitting techniques, tools, and equipment
  • Previous leadership training is a plus
