An employer is looking for Technical Recruiter in the Austin, TX area. On the behalf of our client, we are seeking talented, customer-oriented technical recruiters with a passion for delighting the client and candidate, to join this global recruiting organization. You will be supporting technical teams to drive candidate generation strategies in partnership with your clients. This role will be strictly a sourcing position, meanings; heads down and sending candidates over to the business; this is not a full lifecycle recruiting position! With that being said, the roles you will be filling to support are Software Development Engineers, UI/UX, Product Managers, Technical Sales Managers, Research Scientists, Applied Scientist, Solution Architects, etc. Successful sourcers on this team utilize their experience in setting benchmarks, forecasting and tracking against metrics, and prioritizing to hit customer SLAs. They thrive in an innovative, fast-paced environment, can roll up their sleeves, work hard, and have fun to get the job done. They draw on extensive knowledge of Talent Acquisition and functional areas of the business, forging dynamic relationships with business leaders and hiring managers. You will partner with hiring teams to build effective sourcing and assessment approaches with an ability to manage customer/partner expectations through a deep understanding of return on investments. In this role, you must demonstrate the ability to recruit passive candidates and gauge both technical skills and chemistry of candidates for fit, and to understand candidate motivation while building and maintaining a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and on-going relationship management; conduct in-depth interviews with candidates, and demonstrate the ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences through high offer-to-interview ratios. Additionally, you will recommend ideas and strategies that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company, implementing new recruiting processes and fine-tuning standard processes that fit within the client's mission to deliver the highest quality results to the customer. 5+ years recruiting experience
At minimum 2+ years in current role, unless there is a notable explanation for more than one role in the past two years
- minimal job hopping (i.e. less than 6 months in role for any prior position is a concern or jumping jobs every year is a concern. Preference is tenured individuals who have remained in role for 3-5 years per company.)
Agency and/or corporate experience (i.e. no career contractors). Experience in large, competitive organizations highly preferred.
Mainly need technical recruiters (not IT recruiters, but someone that has hired Software Development Engineers, Technical Product Managers, UX/Design, Solutions Architects, Technical Sales People, Research Scientists, Applied Scientists, etc).
For Non-Tech Recruiters, we need specifically Recruiters who have focused on sales (preference for technical sales) and/or Solution Architects
Need to be open to sourcing roles, NOT FLC or Client Lead candidates (client will explain more on how sourcing versus FLC/CL works as it is different than most companies and the term sourcer should not be a turn-off. Sourcers in this organization have a high level of client engagement and ownership over the recruiting life cycle, far more so than other large enterprise companies.
