Software Engineer

If you're an experienced Software Engineer with terrific knowledge of design and user experience, there's an exciting opportunity for you to check out at Robert Half. As a part a tireless and deeply passionate team, you will play a pivotal role as the Software Engineer in developing new platforms and maintaining existing systems. A long-term contract / temporary to hire role, this Software Engineer opportunity will be based in the Jacksonville, Florida area.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and apply back end and front end components and services
- Appraise new technologies and generate prototypes for ongoing improvements
- Work closely with the product team to build new features and infrastructure
- Supplement solutions which account for scalability and optimize performance
- Produce high quality production-ready code in an agile environment
- Advocate top programming practices and standards
- SQL Server experience
- AngularJS experience
- Proven knowledge of Web API
- Knowledge of .NET Framework
- Well-founded grasp of RESTful Service
- General familiarity with GIT
- Deep understanding of Visual Studio
- Comprehensive knowledge of C#
- Experience integrating with API backends
- Background working with web application frameworks
- You have been through the planning, launching and refactoring phases of code you have personally authored
- Strong relational database management systems expertise. You can write a query to do almost anything
