Creative Financial Staffing has partnered with a stable yet growing Insurance Company to identify an FP&A Analyst to join their team. Whether you are currently in a financial analysis role or have a background as an actuary or underwriter this will be an opportunity worth exploring.

The FP&A Analyst's responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Prepare the annual budget and lead the planning process.
  • Assist with developing presentation materials for meeting with rating agencies, insurance departments, Board meetings, etc.
  • Provide support for monthly and quarterly analysis of premiums, losses, expenses, reinsurance transactions, commissions and other significant accounts compared to budget and prior periods.
  • Act as liaison with independent actuaries to understand loss reserve trends.
  • Act as liaison with reinsurance broker and carriers to evaluate program design and successfully renew program.
  • Review expense report submissions for reasonableness and trend analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience as a financial analyst, accountant, actuary or underwriter in the insurance industry required
