As a Finance Business Partner for Supply Chain, join the largest Cell and Gene Therapy facility in the world at Lonza as we continue to expand. We are seeking dedicated professionals to grow with us, and we currently have an exciting opportunity within our Finance team. As the Finance Business Partner for Supply Chain, you will play a key role in analyzing historical financial data, forecasting future outcomes, and driving improvements in processes and policies. Leveraging your strong accounting and compliance expertise, you will collaborate cross-functionally to support strategic decision-making and enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop cost standards for materials and labor.
  • Update standard costs in the bill of materials.
  • Calculate, budget, and apply overhead costs as required by IFRS accounting principles.
  • Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies.
  • Work with warehouse and site controller to review and dispose of obsolete inventory.
  • Coordinate physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
  • Investigate cycle counting variances and resolve issues.
  • Monitor and report capital project & cost center spending.
  • Monitor and execute the Internal Control System and ensure accordance with FAM (Financial Accounting Manual) and MAM (Management Accounting Manual).
  • Drive & support Lonza Houston, Inc’s month end close process.
  • Share responsibility for Management reporting and analysis.
  • Assist with the development of budgeting and forecasting.
  • Actively drive collaboration with business partners.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Advanced proficiency in SAP.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel, including advanced data analysis and modeling skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
  • Demonstrated ability to embrace company values and adapt to shifting business priorities.
  • Experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry is highly preferred.
