JOB SUMMARY
This job carries out efforts to gather information on competitors, national and regional markets, and industry/regulatory trends affecting the business. The incumbent researches and taps into different sources of information and then analyzes the data and trends. The incumbent works with other members of the organization who regularly communicate with the market to develop intelligence. The incumbent may also be asked to participate in certain strategic initiatives based on relevance and strategic planning need.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Analyze and synthesize information gathered, including financial performance of key competitors, market moves of key competitors, general changes in overall market performance, important trends for the market.

Possess expert understanding of the key sources of internal, public, and market information, and establish and maintain the continuous process/pattern for gathering information.

Produce communications, including use of visualization, to leadership and other key business users in the organization to feed day-to-day operations and key strategic initiatives.

Author and deliver research reports, webinars, and newsletters.

Identify, evaluate, and recommend resources needed to upgrade overall competitive intelligence.

Contribute to strategic initiatives as deemed relevant or necessary as assigned.
-
Other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience/Skills Requirements
Required Education:
- Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or related field of study, or relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company in lieu of bachelor's degree

Pay Range Minimum:
$67,500.00
Pay Range Maximum:
$124,800.00
Base pay is determined by a variety of factors including a candidate’s qualifications, experience, and expected contributions, as well as internal peer equity, market, and business considerations. The displayed salary range does not reflect any geographic differential Highmark may apply for certain locations based upon comparative markets.
