Job Description

The Plant Staffing Specialist is responsible for various aspects of talent acquisition for the manufacturing and the distribution operations in Jonesboro, AR. Primary responsibilities of this position would be the implementation, coordination, administration and development of recruitment, and selection of quality talent for hourly and salaried positions in these facilities. Requirements 1. Work closely with the Hiring Managers to understand requirements of open roles and create an effective recruitment strategy.
2. Manage the full life cycle process including: sourcing, screening, scheduling, interviewing, evaluation and offer negotiation, and on-boarding, etc.
3. Execute sourcing strategies focused on generating candidate flow to meet recruiting goals and metrics.
4. Identify innovative and proactive recruitment strategies to produce high-quality passive and active candidates for pipelines.
5. Develop partnerships with local schools and other branding channels to recruit local talent.
6. Administer the internal job posting process and assist in the development of succession plans.
7. Responsible for scheduling and coordinating interviews for hourly and salaried positions.
8. Partner with the training department to schedule orientation for new hires and process on-boarding through HRIS.
9. Ensure a positive candidate experience through effective communication, an efficient interview process and timely interview feedback.
10. Ad-hoc projects as assigned.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: • High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in preferred.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of applications including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Solid understanding of applicable federal and state laws.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: • 5-7 years of human resource, recruiting and/or staffing experience preferably supporting a manufacturing, technical and/or distribution client base.
SKILLS/ABILITIES: • Professional public relations skills
• Excellent organizational skills
