The maintenance employees are responsible for all general maintenance duties.
These duties include performing routine and sometimes extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures on buildings, mechanical equipment and utility systems, changing press gaskets, repairing molds if applicable, among others.

•?? To preform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative, but not limited to; the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
•?? Preforms minor repair of all buildings and equipment. (Major repairs are performed by licensed maintenance professionals)
•?? Performs preventive maintenance procedures on building equipment on a scheduled basis; inspects belts, checks fluid levels, replaces filters, greases bearings, seals, etc.; repairs or replaces broken parts.
•?? Completes daily, weekly, monthly, semi annual, and yearly checklists on building and equipment maintenance procedures and maintains records of scheduled maintenance procedures.
•?? Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required.
•?? May assist with the renovation/remodeling of buildings; paints building structures.
•?? Performs outside custodial duties such as snow removal as required.
•?? Pick up or deliver parts if needed
•?? Knowledge of welding and cutting
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is subjected to work environments that are dusty and noisy. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock; and noise vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to occasionally loud. If working inside during the summer, the temperature is elevated.
•?? Able to recognize unsafe situations, and report same to supervisor.
•?? Able to wear, and understand the limitations of, personal protective equipment to be worn when executing this job function. Such as, but not limited to:
•Safety glasses with side shields
•Steel toed safety shoes
•Helmet, proper gloves and protective sleeves if welding or cutting
•Follow LOTO procedures
•Ear plugs (voluntary)
•Dust mask (voluntary)
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. High school graduation or possession of an acceptable equivalent diploma or, life experience equivalency.
Good skill in the use of hand and power tools
LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS OR REGISTRATIONS:
Must have valid Ohio driver???s license and able to be insured on company motor vehicle insurance policy.
Must be certified to operate a Powered Industrial Truck (forklift) and pass a Mullins Rubber Products PIT exam.
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL SKILLS:
Acceptable eyesight (with or without correction)
Acceptable ???hand/eye??? coordination
Acceptable hearing (with or without hearing aid)
Able to lift 100 pounds
