Dallas, TX

Contract 6-12 months

$50/hr to $60/hr

Our client is currently looking for a Sr. Project Manager who will own, manage and drive a variety of Workday HR and Finance projects. Some additional duties include, but are not limited to:

  • The coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of the projects.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with HR, Finance and IT leadership.
  • Works with business stakeholders of all levels to understand our clients business process and translate that into detailed requirements for the clients Workday ERP projects and enhancements.
  • Assist in the analysis of issues and solutions and provides escalation to Data Team leadership when issues threaten achievement of goals and target dates.
  • As part of the clients Workday Project Management Team, the Sr. Project Manager will work with the Director of HRIS, Director of Finance, Controller, and SMEs to project manage and implement the clients Workday projects.
  • Relies on strong project management skills, healthcare knowledge, relationship building, business analysis, and proven analyst skills to accomplish goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Helps orchestrate the planning and implementation of multiple Workday system projects and integrations.
  • Facilitates the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables.
  • Develops detailed project plans and works closely with the leaders of each discipline on requirements and resource allocation.
  • Documents requested enhancements
  • Provides business analysis on projects including creating business requirements documents, documenting stakeholder sign-off and other analysis activities.
  • Tracks project deliverables using appropriate tools
  • Provides direction and support to the project team.
  • Monitors and reports on progress of projects to data team leadership and stakeholders and supports leadership reporting needs.
  • Creative problem solving and strong verbal/written communication skills will be leveraged in this role.
  • Strong analytical, consultative, and communication skills: as well as the ability to make good judgment and work with both technical and business personnel
  • Creates Training documentation and delivers training to USAP personnel
  • PMI or Scrum Master certification a plus.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Experience managing Workday projects is a plus
  • 7+ years of experience in business analysis and/or project management, preferably in a healthcare provider or payer organization.
  • 3+ years of experience in designing business solutions within a healthcare HR and Finance systems.
  • 3+ years of experience around the testing and rolling out feature enhancements in healthcare information systems.
  • Strong analytical, consultative, and communication skills; as well as the ability to make good judgment and work with both technical and business personnel
  • Significant experience in working with business users to define requirements, develop and deliver solutions as well as communicate to the broader organization

Required Education & Training:

  • Bachelor's degree required with major/concentration in relevant information technology area (CS, MIS, CIS or CE) or equivalent work experience.
  • MS or MBA a plus
