CorTech is looking to hire a Material Handler in Orlando, FL.
Material Handler
The Material Handler is responsible for accurately pulling, packing, and preparing customer orders and maintaining warehouse inventory.
How you will do it:
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly material handling tasks such as:
o Ordering parts for customer jobs.
o Receiving parts physically and in inventory system (Oracle).
o Dispatching materials to techs and Issuing equipment to jobs.
o Returning parts to vendors.
• Check all orders to ensure accuracy.
• Staging parts in the locations.
• Pull and pack materials.
• Communicate with freight carriers regarding daily bills of lading.
• Prepare of shipping documents if necessary.
• Perform general warehouse duties including FedEx processing, housekeeping, stocking, safety and maintenance.
• Update Installation Portal with parts status.
• Look for parts availability in other branches to meet customer expectations.
• Follow up with vendors and procurement on parts status and ETA.
• Conduct special projects as physical inventories, cycle counts, among others.
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
What we look for:
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required. The preferred candidate will have 2 years receiving experience in a warehouse environment.
The individual must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong attention to detail.
Must possess organizational skills and be computer literate. A low level of confidentiality is required.
• Flexible workweek, hours may vary. Extended hours may be required based on business needs. Travel may be required while attending business meeting, and meetings with outside agencies, vendors, clients and personnel. General work done in a warehouse environment where exposure to heat, cold, and hazardous materials may occur.

The ability to lift up to 40 lbs. is required. Grasping, lifting, bending, stooping, and twisting are involved. Extended periods of standing and/or sitting are frequently required. The employee is required to use always PPE including steel toe shoes. The employee must have constant free mobility of hands, wrists and arms in order to operate computer/keyboard and other equipment. In addition, the individual should be computer literate and able to visually distinguish colors.
