Therapeutic Integration Manager

The League for People with Disabilities Baltimore, MD (Onsite) Full-Time

The Therapeutic Integration (TI) Program Manager will provide supervision to TI Instructors, Activity Specialist, and Program Assistant for the TI Program. The TI Program Manager will ensure individual goals are being met, appropriate service delivered and documentation requirements are completed. The TI Program Manager will also coordinate any special programming requests during school closings (i.e., Spring Break, Summer, and Winter Break).



Essential Duties and **

  • Oversee the daily operation of the TI Program.
  • Provide effective supervision to TI Instructors, TI Activity Specialist, and the Program Assistant.
  • Supervise Activity Specialist, TI Program Assistant, and TI Instructors, being available for supervision, developing work schedules and coordinate bi-monthly meetings with TI staff.
  • Attend screening/intake meetings for potential TI participants, in conjunction with Director.
  • Coordinate transportation for participants requiring League transport from school to TI; also coordinate to ensure all participants have rides home from TI.
  • Assist in developing and coordinating with the Director, the training for all TI staff, ensuring that they complete and maintain required trainings.
  • Review all TI Logs for accuracy, completeness, and quality prior to submitting for Master Files.
  • Maintain accurate Attendance Logs for each operational day, and ensure that attendance, timesheets, and participant logs are consistent.
  • Monitor program participants’ billable hours to ensure that adequate services are rendered.
  • Implement State of Maryland DHMH, MSDE, and League policies.
  • Collaborate with Manager of IISS & Respite Services to ensure consistency between the TI and IISS programs, including use of Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) for in-program respite documentation.
  • Complete timely evaluations of all staff supervised.
  • Collaborate with Activity Specialist to develop activity schedules & modules of age appropriate therapeutic activities for participants.
  • Remain abreast of evidence-based strategies and incorporate those into programming to ensure quality, individualized, person-centered activities during TI.
  • Assist in creating a proactive, safe and culturally competent workplace.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Autism & Community Integration or VP of Youth & Recreation Programs.

Qualification *

  • Ability to work with a diverse population.
  • Experience working with individuals with behavior and communication challenges; familiarity with Positive Behavioral Strategies.
  • Access to a reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license with no more than 3 points on record.


Educational ****

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, plus 5 years’ experience working with children with autism.
  • Master’s Degree preferred in a related field or Certified Special Educator.
