Manufacturing Supervisor Required For A Leader In The Packaging Industry

One of the nation's Largest Packaging Companies is looking for driven individuals to add value to the manufacturing team. The Manufacturing team is growing rapidly with an expected 33% growth in 2019 and are actively targeting hard working individuals with a desire for professional growth.
The Manufacturing Manager is a critical, hands-on position that will immediately take a leadership role within the organization. With such extensive hiring going on in 2019 the Manufacturing Supervisor will be tasked with building and training a team to hit key KPIs and maximize efficiency in the manufacturing process.
The Manufacturing Supervisor, will have the following responsibilities:
Manage shift production in achieving safety, quality, service, waste, and productivity goals
Monitor employee practices to ensure they comply with regulatory and company safety and quality policies.
Lead World Class Operations Management and/or other continuous improvement events to improve overall performance
Be an integral part of the hiring, firing, and training process for the manufacturing team
Providing strong leadership to the team and managing the systems, equipment, people, and materials according to the relevant company guidelines.
The ideal candidate will have the following skill set:
Minimum of 2 year's experience in operations, production supervision, quality, maintenance in a leadership role.
Bachelor's degree is a plus, Or an equivalent amount of work experience/education.
Strong Work History, spent at least 3 years in current position
Industry preference is open, but assembly or food production are preferred
Strong communications and leadership abilities.
Military experience preferred
