We are currently hiring a Salesforce Senior Technical Architect to join our Enterprise Applications team. This is an exciting opportunity that will allow someone the opportunity to work with multiple regions around the world to design and implement a single business solution/system utilizing Salesforce. In this role you will be responsible for building programmatic and integration designs that are scalable for a global Salesforce solution. This position will contribute to overall solution design and technical governance of the software development lifecycle of customer facing processes.

The Salesforce Senior Technical Architect will primarily provide technical inputs and leadership to the Salesforce implementations & Center of Excellence (COE) teams to resolve complex business requirements. Such requirements will span across the entire customer lifecycle, including marketing, sales, digital commerce, and customer service interaction areas, especially those functionalities that integrate inside and outside of the Salesforce platform. The Technical Architect is recognized as the subject matter expert and assists in planning future phases of Salesforce deployments and strategic business initiatives. This role is responsible for ensuring that business & technical process flows, programmatic development, configuration and functional specification documentations are maintained per the standard work. This is a Remote position.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategy and vision to Enterprise Sales Excellence and Enterprise Salesforce Automation (SFA) Center of Excellence (COE) teams for solution design, configuration, and development standards, including best practices with Salesforce technology

  • Provide thought leadership to monitor, track, and review delivery of solutions to ensure adherence to standards and best practices

  • Assist the Salesforce implementation and COE (Support) teams with business process re-engineering and solution development of complex business requirements by utilizing the best business practices supported by the Salesforce application

  • Collaborate with business functions and other IT teams to define, plan, model, govern, and implement Salesforce capabilities

  • Ensure end-to-end solution integrity, including integration of back-office Oracle ERP & legacy systems and 3rd party software

  • Provide technical guidance and mentor the development teams on application development and integrations with Salesforce

  • Proactively communicate risks associated with solution design integrity to key stakeholders

  • Ensure ownership and accountability Provide strategy and vision to Enterprise Sales Excellence and Enterprise Salesforce Automation (SFA) Center of Excellence (COE) teams for solution design, configuration, and development standards, including best practices with Salesforce technology

  • Provide thought leadership to monitor, track, and review delivery of solutions to ensure adherence to standards and best practices

  • Assist the Salesforce implementation and COE (Support) teams with business process re-engineering and solution development of complex business requirements by utilizing the best business practices supported by the Salesforce application

  • Ensure ownership and accountability to effectively resolve gaps systemically to completion

  • Lead and support initiatives to minimize support cost and accelerate delivery of value-added functionality leveraging the Salesforce platform

  • Drive the adoption of standard work processes, standard application functionality and data standards

  • Vet Change Requests with the Salesforce COE and Implementations teams before and during Change Review Board sessions

  • Assess new tools and software, perform POCs, and offer recommendations to optimize the enterprise Salesforce landscape

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of software development, technical and functional design, and proven experience with successful Salesforce project deployment. (On platform experience is required.)

  • Salesforce platform experience; well versed in APEX, Flows, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, SOSL, declarative configuration, programmatic customization, Visualforce, and integration pattern specific programming

  • Salesforce Certified Application Architect (desired) and Salesforce Certified System Architect (desired); Platform Developer I & Platform Developer II certifications strongly encouraged

  • Cloud experience with Sales & Service, Commerce Cloud, Partner Communities and Customer Communities (Experience), Omnichannel, and Field Service

  • Implementation experience with B2B

  • Implementation experience with B2C Salesforce technology preferred

  • Knowledge of integration best practices and implementation experience with middleware tools such as: WebMethods IO, On-Premise and Cloud-based endpoints, Oracle Platforms, and Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) with Salesforce

  • Working experience of Salesforce Mobile app

  • Experience with ancillary applications: Agile methodology, Event Monitoring, Log Analytical and security tools (Jira, GitHub, Flosum, Shield)

  • Experience working with large scale enterprise, matrix organization with Front/Back Office

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent experience

  • Travel up to 10% in the future may be required

Base Compensation Range is $102,000 to $211,500. Total compensation for this role also will include an incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base salary range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
