Strom's Truck Repair is looking for Journeyman Mechanic/Lead Truck Technician to join our team that is hard working, reliable, has the ability to learn and the willingness to grow.
Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs, be on your feet most of the day, and be able to get down and up from the ground.We are seeking a Journeyman Mechanic/Lead Truck Technician with at least 7 to 10 years of experience and should be able to perform general maintenance and be able to use a diagnostic laptop, diagnose electrical issues, perform overheads, rebuild engines on multiple makes and models, etc.All technicians will need their own tools, reliable transportation to and from work, and be able to pass a drug and alcoholl test.
The hours are Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM with some overtime offered.We look forward to having you on our team!
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of Semi trucks and Trailers
Diagnose mechanical issues using tools such as an Ohmmeter and other diagnostic equipment.
Preform Overheads on Semi trucks
Rebuild engines on Semi trucks
Conduct inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate.
Replace defective parts and components as necessary.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
Collaborate with team members to improve equipment performance and reliability.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
