PSEG is seeking a State and Governmental Affairs intern at our Newark NJ location - with the possibility of travel to our Trenton location. This position will be remote with the possibility of on-site meetings as needed (subject to change based on safety guidelines)
Candidate should be a rising junior or a rising senior.
This position is remote, with the option to attend in person meetings in the Newark or Trenton NJ office as needed.

Job Responsibilities
Support the State Government Affairs ("SGA") organization in identifying key political and policy issues impacting the business as well as assisting the organization in the implementation of PSEG's public affairs objectives.
Job Specific Qualifications
The successful candidate (s) must be actively pursuing a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Public Policy, Political Science, Marketing, Communications or Business degree programs. Candidates must have completed sophomore level course work for consideration. PSEG recognizes institutions of higher education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent.
Preferred Skills:
* 3.0 GPA
All PSEG internship roles are paid at an hourly rate, however there are no benefits associated with these positions. We are targeting: Currently enrolled/matriculating students and able to commute to the assigned work location as needed. Housing, transportation, immigration Support will not be provided in association with these positions.
