Reports to Executive Director of Corporate Health and Wellness Operations

  1. Provides oversight for the corporate health services in the 10 + urgent care facilities
  2. Provides practice management for one clinic operation and oversees of other locations.
    1. Appropriate staffing
    2. Business office and operations management
    3. Leasing and construction projects and Moves
    4. Practice development
    5. Budgeting for 3 Clinics
    6. Revenue and expense analysis for 4 Clinics
    7. Orientation program maintenance
    8. Understands and requests changes in occupational health software, Systoc super user
    9. Maintains corporate health physician schedules
    10. Payroll- Co-worker and Providers
  3. Urgent Care liaison
    1. Ensures adequate communication to urgent care both within operations and clinically
    2. Promotes health working relationship between corporate health and urgent care
    3. Maintains schedule and list of services related to corporate health services so that employees are receiving services at right location and during most optimal times
    4. Ensures urgent care co-workers are properly trained for corporate health services and receive up to date information regarding changing regulations.
  4. Corporate Health Operations
    1. Ensures adherence to contractual obligations with employers
    2. Oversees referrals from corporate health sites to specialists and other testing
  1. Additional Items
    1. Billing:
      1. Oversees billing department
      2. Billing contact for CBO to review and recommend adjustments/write-offs
      3. Enter “End of Month” charges for EH services for Mercy and St Luke’s
      4. Cash Posting for Washington Center.
    1. Audit and Performance:
      1. Performance Improvement to track trends and implement charges as a result of data. (DOT Audit, No Show audits, Monsanto Audits)
      2. Audit Charts and enter charges daily.
    2. Reporting:
      1. Coordinate, Review Aging for CH and Mercy UCC’s
      2. Run Reports:   Weekly for DOT audits. Compile DOT results and coordinate correction if needed and send info for gov. reporting. Send unflattened reports weekly to MD’s and monthly to my direct reports, for closure.
      3. Maintains Equipment Log for CH, EH and Monsanto Location.
    3. Systems & Training
      1. Systoc Trainig Clinical and added MD
      2. UDS Trainer for CH and UCC’s
      3. Set up and maintain EScreen data base for UDS and BAT Compliance
      4. Set up and Maintain co-workers in Trust Commerce System
      5. Formation Graduate and Hold Formation session 9/12 months at Washington
    4. Client Services
      1. Client Recruitment: Send leads to Client services for new Clients
      2. Upon request participate in Tours with new Clients.
      3. Complaint Resolution: Client and patient.
    5. Compliance & Safety
      1. Participates and Presents information at Infections Disease and Safety Committees at Mercy Hospital-Washington
      2. Co-Chair of Resp Protection program at Mercy Hospital-Washington
      3. Coordinates Safety and Compliance: Environment of care rounds, drills, etc
      4. Reviews and updates Policies annually.
      5. Delegate for MERS Investigations for Corp Health.
      6. Implements and maintain regulatory guidelines for Gov, CDC and OSHA regulations.
      7. Coordination of Annual Fit Testing and TST
    6. Miscellaneous
      1. Coordination of special projects (DOT implementation, MD payroll, Flu Reporting, Train the Trainer sessions, etc)
      2. Coordinate & run monthly meeting to maintain communication
      3. Responsible for ordering meds for Center
      4. Coordinate B-Reader Pick up and mailing
      5. Developed Ameren algorithm for Constant workflow in Center

Because you’re committed to excellence, you understand the importance of being properly prepared for your role at Mercy. That’s why you’ll bring to your role the right set of qualifications:

Education: Bachelor of Science degree.
Licensure: Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse
Experience: At least 5 years experience in occupational medicine.
Other: Case Management, OSHA trained.
Preferred Education: Certified Case Manager Preferred.
Preferred Experience: At least ten years occupational health experience.
Preferred Certifications: Preferably a Certified Occupational Health Nurse.
