Our Head of People will oversee the HR function for the entire organization, HQ & Clinic, including onboarding and training, employee benefits, scheduling, employee relations and more.

What You'll Do:

  • • Develop and own the human resources function for Bond Vet.
  • • Provide HR support and guidance in organizational change initiatives.
  • • Enhance onboarding and training program for clinic team members by collaborating with Recruitment and Operations teams. 
  • • Manage the employee appraisal process and professionally manage employee relations issues.
  • • Develop and maintain the employee handbook.
  • • Analyze employee benefits offerings and determine best options for Bond Vet.
  • • Lead initiatives to enhance employee culture. 
  • • Manage one direct report and continue to build out team as necessary.
  • • Stay up to date with HR related legal guidelines.

You Have:

  • • 10+ years experience in Human Resources.
  • • Bachelors or Masters degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • • Experience building an HR function within a high-growth environment.
  • • Veterinary, Healthcare, Restaurant or Retail industry preferred. Multi-unit experience is a plus.
  • • Experience with hourly and salaried employees a plus.
  • • Must thrive in a fast-paced, results driven, growth oriented environment.
  • • Proactive attitude and ability to work independently.
