- Client is seeking a procurement professional with IT contract experience who can provide assistance on a special project at its corporate headquarters.
Provide support to the IT and IT Procurement/Sourcing Departments in the area of contracts and transactions as relates to an evaluation of contract terms and negotiations with suppliers related to a divestiture.
Primary responsibility will be to review IT Vendor contracts and interpret and input key meta data into a master data sheet. Individual will partner with team and stakeholders to define a work plan for execution.
Drive negotiations for revisions to contracts, agreements for transition services or drafting new contracts as required in partnership with Legal counsel.
Working independently, will manage the work plan and solicit priorities from multiple stakeholder groups, including senior leadership within IT, Procurement and Law functions.
Provide timely updates and escalate appropriately for decisions to keep projects moving quickly.
Recommend negotiation strategies based on business requirements, relationship history, contract research findings.
Execute agreements per client's governance processes.
Other projects may include compiling contract summary memos, form documents and organizing them for the use of a broader team and assisting with the development and implementation of contract administration processes.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT, Finance, Supply Chain or related field Strong negotiation experience Experience with IT Sourcing and IT vendor contracts Highly organized and detail oriented Project management and communication skills Proficient in MS SharePoint, Word, and Excel Experience in IT, Procurement and/or Supply Chain helpful (4+ years)
Advanced degree in Business, Finance, or JD Demonstrated history of leadership, teamwork, and project management skills Demonstrated competitive drive and strong orientation for results and achievement Demonstrated skills in clear communication and presentation Demonstrated professionalism and strong presence in interactions with others
