Job Description

PROJECT ASSOCIATE WITH KNOWLEDGE OF FEDERAL SUNSHINE ACT
PLAINSBORO, NJ


Project Description:
To provide assistance to the Compliance Government Reporting team. Provide project and business analyst support for government reporting activities to Associate Director, Managers and Specialist for Government Reporting. Will report to the Associate Director for Government Reporting. Assist in creation and submission of reports to internal stakeholders to assist in meeting government requirements regarding transparency. Assist in project management with key projects:
  • Creation and implementation of Project Plan, assistance with project execution and assist with the management of key projects within Compliance Government Reporting.
  • Review and analyze HCP spend/transparency related databases to identify gaps and trends.
  • Creation of documentation to support overall transparency process and government reporting assumptions.
  • Collaborate with IT in identification of system gaps and requirements.
  • Collaborate with Compliance, consultants, vendors and technical teams to coordinate system enhancement projects and manage milestones and expectations.
  • Support project management objectives to aid in clarity of requirements and communications within the Compliance Department, key stakeholders and outside vendors.
  • Act as business analyst to document current state process and future state process flows.
  • Ability to work independently and preparation of work for senior leaders.
  • Development of presentations to senior leadership team and committees.

Required Skills:
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent a minimum of 4+ years overall pharmaceutical/life science or project management experience is required.
  • Must possess general knowledge and understanding of pharmaceutical industry regulations and guidelines (e.g. Federal Sunshine Reporting).
  • Track record of team work, innovation, and project management.
  • Possess good communication skills, oral, written and presentation, and ability to engender trust and respect of peers and superiors.
  • Ability to gather, analyze data, determine key issues and make recommendations that reflect a solid understanding of the larger business context and the objectives and strategies of the organization.
  • Excellent Microsoft suite skills required.
  • Manager looking for someone who has high aptitude and can keep up with the federal regulations which are constantly changing; daily deadlines to be met and must be able to keep up in a fast past ever changing environment.
  • Ideal candidate will have experience managing multiple projects.
