Medical Biller/Collections Specialist
Classification: Medical Biller/Collections Specialist
Compensation: $15.04 to $17.41 hourly
Accountemps is working with one of their biggest global accounts who is looking for someone to join the team as a Medical Biller/Collections Specialist. They are looking for someone with Medicaid experience, flexibility to work overtime or weekends if needed. Must have good technical skills, and also have strong Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word. For direct consideration, please email your resume to [ Email removed ] - URL blocked - click to apply Primary Responsibilities: • Assisting patient/family in completing applications for government sponsored programs/Financial Assistance. • Assess patient’s eligibility for government sponsored programs/Financial Assistance. • Contacts patient/family and conducts interviews for the purpose of assessing eligibility. • Verifies patient’s information to complete applications. • Checks patient account for previous balances and advises patient of all financial obligations. • Informs patient of collection policy • Notifies appropriate hospital staff regarding eligibility status and determination.
