The leadership position is responsible for an accounting and clerical department. As the Controller, your tasks will include planning and directing all accounting operational functions, managing the accumulation and consolidation of financial information for internal and external financial statements, assessing accounting and internal control systems, and guiding departmental staff. This is a full-time Direct Hire opportunity. Responsibilities include: - Manage daily cash and prepare cash-flow reports, projecting cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals - Collaborate with executive team and partners to support efficient and effective business operation - Analyze, apply and improve policies, procedures, controls and most methodologies - Manage the production of and monthly monitoring of the annual budget and forecasts - Advance Finance Department initiatives, such as software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, as needed, with research, planning and implementation - Ensure client satisfaction by reviewing deliverables of self and team - Handle monthly and annual close of income statement and balance sheet, account reconciliations G/L analysis - Present monthly financial reports to owners and managers - Manage the timing for monthly billing and other cash management techniques to make sure cash collection is on time - Comfortable handling responsibilities beyond formal job duties - Lead the operations of the finance department which includes accounts payable, billings collections, and payroll If you or someone you may know are a match for this opportunity, apply directly and/or email your resume to cameron.day@roberthalf.com

Job Requirements

Requirements for this role include: 1. Bachelors in Accounting / Finance 2. QuickBooks experience and great excel skills are a must have 3.
