Job Description

Starting at $40/hr.

M-F 8am-5pm + on call

Summary of Job:The Program Director is responsible for planning, developing, organizing and maintaining activities within the Program. The Program Director is also responsible for developing relationships with funders and potential funders to foster current programs and create new partnerships.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Directs the activities of staff and/or students including the assignment of duties.
•Provides clinical supervision (where relevant) and clinical oversight for assigned staff members.
•Ensures compliance with all contractual, accreditation and funding requirements for service delivery, documentation, etc.
•Administers the business plan and monitors budgetary activities.
•Completes clinical documentation as required.
•Maintains positive, professional relationships with all referral sources and external vendors.
•Ensures adherence to policies and procedures.
•Completes comprehensive psychosocial assessments and treatment plans.
•Provides BHP sign off on all clinical documents completed by the BHTs on the team.
•Works collaboratively with external entities, i.e., hospital staff, Probation, Police Departments and clinical teams.
•Monitors and oversees program participation to include participant flow in and out of the program.
•Understands and adheres to RI International compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies.
•Keeps abreast of all federal and state regulations and laws and all RI International policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.
•Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed must be representative of the knowledge, skills, minimum education, training, licensure, experience, and/or ability required. •State designation as required.
•Basic computer skills.
•Ability to complete comprehensive psychosocial assessments and treatment plans.
•Ability to develop strong professional relationships with team members and foster a sense of teamwork and collaboration across all sites.
•Effective communication skills.
•Excellent documentation skills
•Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field from an accredited college or university.
•Independent Licensure in good standing in an applicable Behavioral Health field required.
•Minimum of five (5) years of full-time behavioral health experience.
•Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory/management experience required.

Driving Requirements:
•If driving is required for this position, must meet all requirements outlined in RI International driving policy.
•If not qualified to drive per driving policy, a Non-Driver Attestation form must be signed.

A Direct Service Competency Checklist must be completed as part of the new hire onboarding process.

Physical Demands:
May include work close to the eyes and substantial motions of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, handling, finger dexterity; eye-hand-foot coordination, use of corrected vision; color vision; use of auditory senses. May be required to lift up to twenty (20) pounds.

Work Environment
May work in an office environment or behavioral health facility. May have contact with individuals who are agitated and/or confused. Work may include travel throughout the geographic region.
