Seeking a Financial Reporting Controller. In this leadership role, you will manage an accounting and clerical department. As the Controller, you will plan and direct all reporting functions, manage the accumulation and consolidation of financial information for internal and external financial statements, assess accounting and internal control systems, and guide departmental staff. Please email Jessica at [Click Here to Email Your Resumé] Major responsibilities - Analyze, apply and improve policies, procedures, controls and most methodologies - Work closely with executive team and partners to facilitate efficient and effective firm-wide operation - Give financial reports to executive committee and partners each month - Responsible for month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet, account reconciliations G/L analysis - Respond on items beyond formal job responsibilities - Support Finance Department initiatives, such as software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, with research, planning, and implementation, as required - Manage the production of and monthly monitoring of the annual budget and forecasts - Analyze deliverables of self and team to confirm they meet client expectations - Guide all operations of the finance department, including accounts payable, billings collections, and payroll

Job Requirements

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Skilled in the construction and delivery of effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds - High attention to detail - Vow to meet business deadlines - CPA/MBA preferred - Progressive accounting experience, including as a Controller preferred - Earlier experience in public accounting is highly valued - Comprehensive knowledge of financial reporting - Financial statements consolidation experience - SEC Reporting experience - Expertise in management reporting - Foundational knowledge in consolidations - Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision - BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business related field - Outstanding technology, analytics and management experience required - Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus - Extraordinary analytical, quantitative and social skills
