Job Description Summary

Ensures that IT processing services are fulfilled in accordance with service-level agreements, optimizing computing resources delivering computing resources to meet the demands of the business. Monitoring, analyzing, and tuning the performance and throughput of selected IT services and utilizing supporting resources. Developing capacity planning; documenting the costs related to business activities to make more informed decisions on business needs. Monitoring and adjusting to meet consumption demands of the business; preparing backup solutions for potential capacity bottlenecks. Performing capacity modeling to simulate infrastructure performance and better understand future resource needs.

Job Description

  • Documenting our network infrastructure and deployed assets
  • Updating our remaining legacy PCs to Windows 10
  • Deploying new Windows 10 PCs
  • Reviewing and error checking IT documentation
  • Organizing our IT supplies & removing unused equipment
  • Configuring / Building Windows 10 PCs
  • Networking fundamentals
  • Experience in an industrial setting
  • Basic ability to read a plant floor layout

Required Skills and Education

  • Must be pursuing technology or accounting related degree.
  • Willing to work and multi task in IT governance and applications environment.
  • Ability to work 24-36 hours/week.
  • Must be currently enrolled in a degree seeking program at a college/university
  • Graduation date of May 2019 or later.
  • Minimum GPA 3.0 or above.
  • Strong excel skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
