This position will report directly to the Chief Growth Officer (CGO). The Vice President of Pricing will have responsibility for managing the GDIT Pricing Team and leading and developing Proposal Team cost strategy and PTW for specific proposal initiatives. In addition, this role will oversee all aspects of cost/price proposal development. This high-profile position will interact with numerous department heads for new business opportunities and assume full responsibility for preparing competitive and fully compliant cost/price proposals.

The successful candidate must continually work with the pricing team to improve the cost proposal processes, develop and minister quality control procedures, and conduct cost proposal peer reviews. In addition, he/she must have the ability to effectively teach and mentor personnel on best practices.


  • Interface with Executive Management. Lead teams who interface with Business Development, Capture, and Proposal Teams to develop strategic pricing models, identify issues, develop and support Pricing Win Strategy, implement solutions, develop guidance and ensure compliance.
  • Lead teams who work with Capture Team to develop Price To Win (PTW)/Competitive Analysis models in support of key bids.
  • Lead teams who asses government RFP price evaluation models to determine the key cost and price levers for the evaluated bid price.
  • Lead teams that bring tools and innovation to improve the pricing process across the company.
  • Maintain detailed pricing documentation files to serve as reference for future inquiries or audits.
  • Work closely with Capture, Contracts, Purchasing, Proposal Development, and Operations to ensure the cost/price proposal is compliant, accurate, competitive and profitable.
  • Establish fundamental policies and procedures related to pricing, cost volume development, cost estimating system manual, training and compliance and audit.
  • He/she will oversee pricing policies and procedures.

Successful candidates should demonstrate and have the following to be considered:

  • 15+ years of related experience (5-7 years of experience in a supervisory or management capacity)
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree required
  • Ability to build and work in a team environment is critical
  • Proven expertise in developing and leading large, complex solutions-based bids in the Federal Government services market
  • Proven ability to lead highly- effective pricing organizations that have successfully bid and won all types of contracts (FP, T&M, CR)
  • Strong financial acumen and proven ability to partner with Business Operations on Bid versus execution strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to act as a trusted financial partner to Executive Leadership over a large business base.
  • A working knowledge of BOE development and understanding of importance to bid.
  • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively across functional areas (Ops, BD, Capture, Contracts, Finance, etc) to deliver competitive and compliant bids the result in winning profitable proposals
  • Must be a US citizen and eligible to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
