O&G Industries, Inc., an innovative and diversified construction company based out of Torrington, CT, seeks an experienced Healthcare Superintendent to join our Building Group to build projects with a value between 0-5 Million dollars. We are a highly respected leader in our field and ranked as one of the top construction firms in the Northeast.

Responsibilities:

  1. Plan, organize, supervise, layout for both alteration and construction within hospitals and clean room spaces
  2. Provide immediate supervision to a small on-site team
  3. Perform individual tasks related to the job-site requirements
  4. Complete purchase orders
  5. Maintain a safe work environment
  6. Order materials
  7. Monitor cost
  8. Maintain quality control
  9. Interact with clients
  10. Coordinate and schedule other trades as required

Qualifications:

  1. Considerable knowledge of rough and finish carpentry, building techniques of new and remodel construction, masonry, concrete, and wood construction and the coordination of MEP installations
  2. Understanding of Infection Control Risk Assessment procedures to properly perform on-site work is a plus
  3. Healthcare experience is a plus
  4. OSHA 30-hour and ICRA certified- although we will assist in acquiring required certification(s)
  5. Willing to travel within CT/Eastern NY
  6. Able to pass a background screen and drug test
  7. Has the COVID vaccination (boosters are not required at this time)
  8. Receives an annual flu shot
