The Trauma Coordinators primary duty is to lead and facilitate the clinical quality improvement team focused on implementation of evidence based medicine, injury management, complication and readmission reduction, and access and coordination of patient care.  The Trauma Coordinator leads the development of annual improvement goals for the trauma assigned department and teams (process and outcome measures) that are in alignment with the organizations vision and strategic plan goals to provide high quality healthcare, advanced technology, and world class service to our patients.

Job Requirements

Education/Qualification

  • BSN Required
  • Master's Degree in Health Care related field, such as MSN, MHA, MBA preferred
  • 5 years of clinical experience in critical or trauma care setting
  • Certification in specialty (CPHQ) preferred
  • ACLS, PALS, or NRP (or obtained within three months of employment) in required specialty.

  • Statistical analysis skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving, data assembly and action planning ability leading to the development of actions plans that will prove helpful in achieving measurable objectives
  • Ability to organize, formulate, educate and facilitate problem solving teams
  • Demonstrative ability to work without supervision towards a desire outcome
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office and Database management
