The Home Building Group is actively searching for a Cost Analyst to join the team at our Richfield, NC facility.

Position Summary:
The Cost Analyst will identify cost department problems and will develop and implement improvement solutions. The Cost Analyst will have a thorough knowledge of cost systems and will perform analysis of cost data to prevent and resolve production and inventory issues.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

PHYSICAL INVENTORY
It is the responsibility of the Cost Analyst to assist Materials Manager to prepare plants for physical inventory, be directly involved in conducting the physical inventory and be responsible in the review and reconciliation of the physical inventory at their particular facility.
Knowledge, Skills, and Ability Requirements:
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as policies, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of peers or team members.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
