This strategically important role will report to the Chief Financial Officer and work closely with the CFO, Controller, and other members of executive management (including the CEO and President) to provide Finance, Planning and Analysis (FP&A) activities and project management support across the finance/risk discipline aimed at providing management with deep financial insight and bandwidth to effectively manage the financial and related functions of the Company.


Essential Functions:

  • Provide financial and analytical support to members of the finance organization
  • Lead the annual budget process, strategic planning and periodic forecasting
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly actual to budget variance analysis reports
  • Prepare regular cash flow forecasts to assist management team in making debt paydown recommendations to the Board of Directors
  • Develop and maintain financial projections to support various new and existing initiatives across the organization
  • Participate in the preparation and related analysis of the year-end financial statements
  • Quarterly management meeting presentations - compilation and analysis
  • M&A / Capital Markets Activities - key team member of any future M&A - evaluation; support; diligence and / or capital market activities
  • Investor Relations - interaction with private equity owners (Stone Point Capital / Goldman Sachs)
  • Debt covenant analysis and monitoring
  • Preparation of key financially oriented projects
  • Support various sales and marketing financial analysis requests
  • Other Ad-Hoc requests of the CFO, other members of management and the financial group


Qualifications:

  • B.S. in Finance, Accounting or equivalent, from a leading undergraduate institution and a top academic performer
  • 3-7 years financial analysis from an investment bank, valuation advisory, M&A due diligence, corporate finance consulting, or Big 4 Accounting firm
  • Self-starter, ability to initiate and lead projects/analysis with minimal guidance
  • Strong communication skills, ability to effectively communicate and work with executives and employees across other departments of the Company
  • Energetic; successful; exemplary performance reviews at current employer
  • Strong Excel/ Financial Modeling skills; Familiarity and comfort in mining data base systems
  • Good understanding of GAAP accounting principles and has had experience with financial statement analysis
  • Strong writing skills
  • Strong presentation skills - written and oral. Above average knowledge of PowerPoint
  • Experience in either or both insurance/warranty or Third-Party Administrator space a plus but not required
