SALES REPRESENTATIVE 1

Daniel Defense engineers and manufactures the world's finest weapon systems and accessories. As a Sales Representative 1, you will be responsible for the functions outlined below:
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for demonstrating commitment to and leadership of environmental health and safety principles, policies and procedures.
- Process retail web and finance orders
- Manage customer expectations pertaining to retail web transactions
- Assist with daily management finance orders
- Process Expert Voice orders
- Respond immediately to requests from customers for information
- Engage in technical discussions with customers through phone and contact form communication
- Participates in the company's efforts to continuously improve in Safety, 6S, Quality, Delivery and Productivity.
- Expected to be a contributor to the company standards on high integrity, safety, fair and equitable treatment and a positive work environment
- Other responsibilities as deemed appropriate or necessary by management.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- 1-2 years of related experience or a combination of related experience, education and/or training to sufficiently and successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
- Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
- Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.
- Great attention to detail and excellent record keeping skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Teamwork and the ability to work well with others is necessary.
- Self-motivated; willing to put in extra effort and hours as needed.
- Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the field.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, identify and address problems and meet deadlines.
- Competent with computer software such as Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Word).
- Expected to be a contributor to the company standards on high integrity, safety, fair and equitable treatment and a positive work environment
- Demonstrated ability to recognize and work in accordance with our Permission to Play Values.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting and bending throughout the normal work day - extensively at trade shows, meetings, etc.
- Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment, to include working in and around machinery, exposure to noise and chemicals, lights/lasers, etc.
- Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protection Equipment as required by your position and/or Company policy.
