Job Description

Local Reno Manufacturing company looking for someone to join their team who has a background in reviewing, developing and testing computer database management systems including Bill of Materials, Methods of Manufacturing and Engineering Work Requests and changes to ensure all data and supporting documentation is accurately and efficiently managed. The right candidate will have experience using ERP software to oversee the checking, revision control, and modification of Bill-of-Materials (BOMs), create new part numbers and revisions, utilize the product configurator, and create reports and dashboards. Actively and efficiently manage all system requirements related to engineering processes, including Engineering Change requests/orders, Standard Operating Procedures and New Product Introductions. Document and record information in written and electronic formats. Support and maintain secured document control files. Coordinate with a team to effectively manage, distribute, and optimize the flow of data. Use computers to program, enter data, process information, and solve problems. Think creatively to approach an issue with the most effective solution. Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in the workplace to work through challenging issues, including the motivation and ability to accept new roles. Provide support to other areas of the Engineering and Quality departments as required.

Job Requirements

- High School Diploma or GED, with preferred computer design, mathematics, or similar emphasis preferred but not required - Bachelor-s degree in Data Management or Information Technology preferred but not required - 2+ Years in a Data Management or Management occupation preferred. - Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office, SQL, Python, Full-Stack Web Development, 4GL, Visual Basic/.NET Framework, Scripting, and basic programming practices. - Must be an effective communicator; must convey information clearly to a team. - Must be an active learner and can assess the impact of new information on current and future projects. - Must be able to manage time and keep up-to-date with ongoing long-term and short-term projects. - Knowledge and experience with ERP software solutions on a small-business manufacturing scale.
