Job Description

Connections Personnel, Inc. is a privately owned and operated employment service, specializing in clerical and industrial placement. We have offices in Scotch Plains and Somerset, New Jersey. Since 1991 Connections Personnel, Inc. has been successfully placing applicants in companies throughout Union, Middlesex, and Essex counties. We have 7 full-time recruiters with a combined total of over 100 years in the staffing industry.

Job Description 
Cranford company has a direct hire for an Account Manager. Primary responsibilities:
Review all company produced documents for accuracy including endorsements, audits, new business and renewal documents. 
Communicates with and secures corrections from all carriers on incorrect items including follow up for same.
Transmittal of all endorsements, audits, new business and renewal documents etc. to the insured.
Works directly with clients as respects simple mid-term changes, such as vehicle additions or deletions.  Prepares policy change requests and submits requests to carriers, including follow up for same.
Works directly with clients as respects Certificates of Insurance.  Prepares Certificates of Insurance including review and compliance with client's contractual requirements.
Handles invoicing for all premium bearing transactions.
Handles interactive interface (input into carrier's system) on all endorsements, new business, renewal, etc.
Coordinates all downloaded activity from carriers for the department, if applicable.
Orders loss runs from carriers or retrieves from carrier websites.
Maintains accurate data in TAM system for each client.
Stays current on all interactive input issues and works to resolve any issues independently with the respective carriers.
Assist in the sales process (RFP and proposal development, presentation, etc.).
Clerical functions, such as answering main telephone line, mail intake and distribution, photocopying, spiral binding, etc. as needed
Other duties, as assigned by Supervisor 

Job Requirements

High School Diploma
New Jersey Property & Casualty Insurance License
Proficient in Agency Management System (TAM online)
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
Proficient in carrier on-line rating systems 
3 to 5 years
