In this role, you’ll help keep our high - volume pharmacy benefits facility running smoothly with emphasis on maintaining inventory and storage of prescription medicines. This role is to ensure daily returns are processed in a timely manner. This position is working in a fast - paced environment with high quality expectations. You will need to have the ability to learn and absorb information quickly. Excellent attendance is a must in this role to meet customers' needs.
Candidate will be responsible for reporting and status updates on all ongoing projects
Candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate filing
Candidate will be accountable for accounting issues that are Procurement-specific – this includes responding to accounting questions in a timely manner (within a 24-hour turn-around time)
Candidate will be responsible to work Saturdays to cover inventory exception queue (pushing orders out and resolving inventory problems as needed)
Candidate will be responsible for handling all back-up functions as well as overflow tasks from Specialty team, this may include: ordering, investigation, manufacturer calls/contacts, monitoring and logging discrepancies
- High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel (for data entry, sorting, filtering and utilization of formulas)
- Ability to work scheduled shift between the hours of Tuesday - Friday 10:30am - 7:00pm and Saturday 9:00am - 5:30pm EST
- 1+ years experience within supply chain or purchasing industry
- Pharmacy Technician license
- Ability to learn and retain new information quickly
- Candidate should be looking for long-term stability with this position
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to multi- task
- Seeks opportunity to learn/develop (internally and externally)
- Ability to manage time well
- Strong interested in pharmaceutical/supply chain industry
- Must be able to work in a Team setting environment
- This position is mostly working in a cubicle during the shift but will have movement as needed on the pharmacy floor
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs as needed
