As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.WHAT YOU’LL DO:Own hardware from concept generation to real world useUse first principles physics as a basis for every decisionLead design reviews, run analysis, visit vendors, define and execute hardware test plansBuild prototypes, analyze failures, and transition successful projects into productionSupport critical hardware demonstrations with customers as neededTravel to test sites as neededREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:5+ years of technical engineering experience in a professional environmentCAD skills (any platform) and ability to make high quality engineering drawings that meet industry standardsDemonstrated hands-on fabrication skillsExperience with complex vehicle systems (propulsion, gearboxes, actuators, etc.)High competence with, and fluid use of, engineering first principlesBS, M.Eng, MS or PhD in an engineering fieldMust be able to obtain and hold a U.S
security clearancePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Experience in NX/TeamcenterExperience with composite design, analysis and testingExperience with metallic casting design, analysis, and manufacturingAbility to integrate electronic components into mechanical designs (motors, controllers, sensors etc.)Experience with machining, sheet metal, injection molding, and 3D printingExperience with missile design, development and testStrong hands on technical skills - both professional and hobbyUS Salary Range$120,000—$180,000 USDThe salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only
