As one of the nation's premier wall and ceiling specialty contractors, Precision Walls, Inc. (PWI) offers you an opportunity to join our team. We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager! The Branch Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing the branch warehouse and ensuring company workplace health and safety requirements are met.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- All phases of facility maintenance – warehouse and building grounds
- Keep warehouse clean and organized
- Material inventory management; prepare a list of non-inventory items for Purchasing
- Manage a team of workers, including work schedules, project progress and resource allocation
- Great problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Effective leadership abilities, like motivation, goal setting and conflict management
- Organizational skills, including time management, delegation, prioritization and multitasking
- Manage the Divisional operations that function within the Cary warehouse (i.e. Raco, Division 10, etc.)
- Issue and receive materials
- Schedule deliveries and help in loading trucks
- Supervise all warehouse personnel. Train to recognize and report Safety issues
- Supervise tool and merchandise sales to field employees
- Investigate & document all personal property damage. Send accident report to Corporate Risk
- Independent determination/recommendation of excess inventory disposal
- Purchasing of replacement tools and responsible for ordering and maintaining Safety equipment
- Get competitive rates from all companies in your area
- Keep warehouse vehicles clean inside and outside on a regular basis.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements/Experience:
- Candidates should have at least five (5) years of warehouse management experience
- Knowledge of NC DOT requirements
- May be required to work long hours and occasional weekends
- Work in non-controlled temperature environment
- Proven ability to lead people and develop strong customer relationships
- Strong work ethic with ability to multi-task and focus
- Computer & technology savvy
- Physically fit to handle daily activities. Includes but not limited to; lifting (up to 75lbs), walking, sitting, climbing, bending, stooping, reaching, etc.
