Derived Salary: $78K - $190K/Year

The Tier 1 CPU Sales Manager is responsible for worldwide revenue and design-win and will lead coordination of reference design adoption by OEM and ODM.


Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Call on multiple Tier 1 SoC business units
  • Drive demand creation, implement the platform & solution selling. Will be the main contact window for SoC designs by collaborating with AOS product line and Asia Sales. Lead discovery and project tracking with various SoC BU, Asia ODM's and Asia CM's.
  • Support SoC customer designs across multiple business units.
  • Act as SoC customer program manager for all board programs including reference and direct build projects.
  • Lead customer engagement and relevant back-end parties (Business Units, Marketing, Sales, and Field Applications Engineering team etc.) to complete the design-in to design-won cycle leading project/program management from discovery until production.
  • Work with local AOS FAE and Asia sales team to manage CRM tracking to exceed quarterly and yearly targets.
  • Responsible for pricing, sampling, forecast, revenue and design wins to meet or exceed yearly targets.
  • Drive collaboration with AOS FAE, local sales, and product lines to support end customer business units
  • Collaborate with end customer FAE and team members in Asia to support reference design-wins key accounts.
  • Provide competition block diagrams and recommend best AOS solutions to customer
  • Track design opportunity from initial meeting to final production
  • Manage customer production forecast and annual operating plan for key accounts.
  • Travel 20%, domestic and internationally

Qualifications (Academic, Experience, Skills, etc.)

  • BSEE/MSEE
  • Multiphase controller, Vcore including DrMOS and SPS, familiar with Tier1 SoC business unit.
  • Power management knowledge including POL, MOSFET, SPS, digital controllers for client and enterprise server market
  • Deep knowledge of Tier1 SoC business unit leads and key decision makers
  • It is preferred for the candidate to have direct experience as sales with power management background for GPUs and client computing applications.
  • Must have strong communication and coordination skills
  • Deep understanding of competition landscape
  • Proficient with CRM, Excel and data analysis
