About this position
The enrollment supervisor is responsible for supervising, training, and evaluating enrollment component staff in the delivery of services to families in the organization's Voucher Program.
The successful candidate must be able to communicate effectively, work both independently and collaboratively within a small, close-knit team, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone with an upbeat, positive attitude who is eager to support the organization's mission and achieve its strategic goals.
What you'll be doing
- Managing an assigned caseload with emphasis on cases that present significant difficulties;
- Supervising enrollment specialists in all aspects of case management and delivery of child care services;
- Preparing draft performance evaluations of enrollment specialists for submission to the enrollment manager;
- Managing enrollment specialists' scheduling, program inquiries, caseloads, and daily activities;
- Maintaining knowledge of and following Community Care Licensing regulations, funding terms and conditions, Child Development Division regulations, Title V regulations, and applicable California state law and CalWORKs contract requirements;
- Maintaining current and accurate records in the database while ensuring confidentiality;
- Monitoring case management, data integrity, and timeline quality for enrollment specialists;
- Preparing reports for the enrollment manager;
- Representing the organization at meetings in the community;
- Training department staff on policies, procedures, and the use of program computer systems;
- Reviewing parent files for accuracy and completeness;
- Working with payment analysts regarding provider payments and parent fees;
- Assisting parents to resolve problems with providers;
- Coordinating social services, counseling, health and special education referrals for parents;
- Accurately completing all assigned paperwork and documentation on a timely basis according to organization policies and procedures;
- Actively participating in the annual in-service training;
- Abiding by all organizational policies and procedures;
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
- Two years of management experience in a child development or social service program setting or related industry;
- Associate's degree or higher in social services, business, child development, or related field (preferred);
- Ability to work well with people with a sensitivity to the needs of children and families;
- Five years of experience in Options for Learning's voucher programs and subsidy contracts (preferred);
- Ability to correctly and effectively communicate in written and oral English;
- Passion for the mission and goals of the organization, with a commitment to providing high-quality care and education to children and families in need;
- Experience in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams);
- A California driver's license, daily use of an automobile, and automobile liability insurance (preferred).

- Exempt, full-time, year-round position;
- Eight-hour workday; four-day workweek;
- Hybrid work schedule with approval by supervisor;

- Employment, responsibilities, compensation and other factors may be affected by changes in governmental regulations, the organization's contracts, or at organization discretion.
