Medical Records Audit Clerk

Candidate will be responsible for completing HEDIS Audit to ensure the provider is meeting the quality measures and patient care. Candidate will be given a Chart Copy Instruction sheet. They will use this information to determine what the site needs for chart copies per member.
1. 1+ years' healthcare office background in a HIPAA regulated environment is preferred but not required.
2. Basic data entry/computer experience
3. 1 to 2 years of experience in high volume data entry/ processing environment ; will be measured on processing on average 40 to 50 audit per day.
4. Good attention to detail
Completes audit requests including copying/scanning medical records accurately and correctly, according to requests, established procedures, and established standards of quality and productivity; and electronically transmits medical record to processing operations.
Performs quality checks on all work to assure accuracy of the release, confidentiality, and proper invoicing.
Demonstrates helpful and effective telephone etiquette and customer service skills by providing appropriate information to callers.
