RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's client in New York, NY, a 20-person (4 partner/16 staff) diverse CPA firm with great work/life balance is seeking a Staff Tax Accountant. Summary: This person will participate on various audit, tax, review, compilation engagements, for diverse clientele in real estate, professional services and other dynamic industries. This company offers excellent compensation, work environment (low turnover), and challenging assignments.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 1 to 2 years of quality small/medium size public accounting experience with exposure to audits, reviews, and tax return preparation
  • Must have ProSystem tax software
  • Pursuing CPA designation
  • Superior verbal/written communication skills and work ethic
