Inbound Operations (Overnight) Team Leader
The pay range per hour is $25.75 - $43.75 Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience and certifications. ALL ABOUT GENERAL MERCHANDISE Experts of operations, process and efficiency who enable a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is set, in stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. The General Merchandise and Food Sales team leads inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, presentation, pricing and promotional signing processes for all General Merchandise (GM) areas of the store. As an Inbound Operations Team Leader, you will gain skills and experience in: Guest service fundamentals and building a guest-first culture on your team Retail business fundamentals including: department sales trends, inventory management, guest shopping patterns, pricing and promotions strategies Planning department(s) daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver sales goals Process improvements and workload efficiency Helping build a team of hourly team members Typical responsibilities include: Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience Understand sales goals and execute daily/weekly workload to deliver on department and store sales goals Be an expert of operations, accuracy and efficiency Utilize workload planning tools to complete all scheduled workload ensuring areas are guest ready Help create a scheduling plan based on monthly and weekly business workload Work a schedule that aligns to guest and business needs Assess all GM backroom and sales floor areas Enable a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product availability Assist in leading organizational and operational change Evaluate candidates for open positions and develop a guest-centric team Establish clear goals and expectations for team members Assist in leading team onboarding and learning Lead and coach team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion Lead a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance Support guest services such as back-up cashier and order pick up Perform other duties based on business needs WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR We might be a great match if: You enjoy working in a fun and energetic environment You are excited about providing exceptional service to our guests You want to lead teams who are stocking, setting and selling Target products You prefer a dynamic work environment over a traditional office setting To be considered for this role, you need: High school degree or equivalent Age 18 or older Previous retail experience preferred, but not required Ability to: Lead and hold others accountable Learn and adapt to current technology needs Work independently and as part of a team Manage workload and prioritize tasks Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment Welcoming and helpful attitude Effective communication skills We are an awesome place to work and care about our teams, so we expect: Access to all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues Interpret instructions, reports and information Accurately handle cash register operations Climb up and down ladders as needed Scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Target will provide reasonable accommodations with the application process upon your request.
