Textile Technician III (Onsite)

Raytheon Technologies Pueblo, CO Full-Time

We are presently seeking a full time Textile Operations Technician for our Pueblo, Colorado location. This position is responsible for the operational tasks and records related to the textile process and the maintenance of all related records.

  • This position is for a full time Textile Operations Technician who is under general supervision.

  • Performs basic to moderately complex technical tasks which contribute to the planning and execution of engineering projects and production related issues.

  • Collaborates with higher level support staff to confer with engineers on details and implications of textile operations.

  • May assist in some orienting, training, and assigning work of technical/business support employees.

  • Other responsibilities include; Needle count Department Inventory, High level CDS tickets, SAP (Inventory level, ect), MES Textiles Operations, Paper work report accuracy, Training Files, BBS Champion, Audit Prep, Document updates, New hire onboarding, Tour Prep, Operator Training, Lectra Programing, CAD, FIFO Needles, Material management, FIFO material, Quality Liaison, Troubleshooting equipment, Production process control, SRM ordering, Fork lift training, EH&S coordinator, DIVE Participant, Maintenance assistance, General problem solving, Professionalism, Willing to learn new process, take the lead on investigations, Minimal supervision, Cross developmental training, Best practices, CDS Liaison, Participant in Kaizen, Turnback, Implement new ideas, Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience OR

  • In the absence of a HS diploma, GED or AA/AS degree, 4 years of relevant experience is required.

  • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident Green Card holder

  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds

  • Possession of valid drivers license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Forklift license would be an asset

  • Intermediate knowledge and use of a PC based computer system with experience on software applications such as WORD, EXCEL, Outlook, and database programs

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, time management and communication skills

  • Ability to prioritize and complete a high volume of tasks with a high level of organization and accuracy

  • Ability to be on-call on a rotating basis, work alternating shifts and possible overtime in order to meet customer requirements

The salary range for this role is $34,000.00 to $76,000.00; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidates work experience, education/training, and key skills.
