Hiring rate of position: $26.577 minimum pay rate, additional pay based on years of RN work experience

The Office of Long Term Care (LTC) Facilities is the office within the Licensure Unit that oversees the Training Coordinator-RN position. The Training Coordinator-RN is responsible for the State and Federal training of the Health Facility surveyors and will supervise the hotline. This position’s duties include duties for the Training Coordinator and RAI (Resident Assessment Coordinator) as well as monitoring enforcement and disciplinary status of nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Each State is expected by CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services) to have a Training Coordinator and RAI Coordinator position Must successfully pass the CMS SMQT (Surveyor Minimum Qualification Test) within the first 6 months Qualifications / Requirements :
REQUIREMENTS: A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Nebraska or authority based on the Nurse Licensure Compact to practice as a registered nurse in Nebraska and education or experience in planning, developing, conduction and evaluating training or adult development courses and training adult learners.
PREFERRED: Electronic Medical Record experience. Care Plan Coordinator and MDS Coordinator experience. At least 2 years long term care experience. Experience in MDS, Care Plans, NSSC Surveyor, Infection Preventionist, Antibiotic Stewardship, and/or QAPI. Experience with Microsoft Office PowerPoint and Excel. Experience communicating on Skype and/or WebEx video. Experience leading, training and/or supervising others.
OTHER: Must posses a valid driver's license and/or the ability to provide independent authorized transportation. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
