Lead the development and management of the Helium & Rare Gases quality and reliability activities for key electronics customers.

  • Develop the necessary quality system required by global electronics manufacturer

  • Lead response and facilitate external audits
  • Support/Operate analytical instrumentation (multiple locations)
  • Report the statistical data for product purity and instrument stability
  • Collaborate with Praxair Distribution (PDI) Specialty Gases and Electronics Quality Groups

  • Interface with customers and participate in Review Boards

Salary and Job Level Commensurate with Experience.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science
  • 2 or more years of relevant industry experience (in Quality)

  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time (domestic, with possibility for international)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Minitab, Northwest Analytics (or equivalent)

  • Experience writing and training technicians on Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) that are compliant with internal and external standards

  • Experience with technical event investigations and tracking/implementation of corrective actions

  • 5 or more years of relevant industry experience (in Quality)

  • Experience with analytical techniques common to industrial gases/electronics industry

  • Understanding of electronics industry and significance of supplier product quality on wafer manufacturing process

  • Working knowledge of quality and reliability related methodologies commonly used by electronics customers including: Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Business Continuity Plan (BCP), Process Control Plan (PCP), Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), Management of Change (MOC), Change Control (CHL), Statistical Process Control (SPC), LEAN/5S, Six Sigma, Materials Qualification, Materials Review Board (MRB), Quality Deviation Reporting (QDR), Supplier Quality Assessment (SQA)

  • Experience performing site compliance audits to prevent safety and quality incidents
