A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Sales Business Development Manager in Fremont, California (CA).

You will be responsible for encouraging, starting, and maintaining new partnerships with companies that will utilize these dash cam products. This role is a sales business development management position.

Responsibilities include:
  • Prospects into net new accounts

  • Leads and runs all sales activities, defining the appropriate go-to-market strategy and completing a plan to increase revenues and grow market share

  • Provides thought leadership, in terms of revenue-generating ideas and solutions, as well as effective planning and forecasting of sales results with a proven record of achieving/exceeding plans

  • Sales Business Development Manager generates prospective customers through cold calling, qualification, and follow up with sales leads

  • Coordinates the negotiation of sophisticated agreements that require technical/architectural, operational, and business model alignment

  • Represents the company to the customer and the customer to the company in all sales-oriented activities

  • Conducts monthly/weekly sales and marketing planning calls with Partners

  • Engages in proactive customer outreach to ensure on-going product adoption and value realization

  • Sales Business Development Manager will identify leads, qualify prospective business, create proposals, present to clients, and create new sustainable business partnerships

  • Present customized solutions that demonstrate a clear understanding of the prospective client's business needs

Daily high-volume sales activities for this role include:
  • Identify, qualify, and develop sales leads

  • Conduct business to business cold calls by phone and in person

  • Create and develop staffing proposals and pricing models

  • Conduct live sales presentations

  • Document customer agreements


  • Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

  • Ability to work cross-functionally to proactively communicate and resolve issues with the highest sense of urgency

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Outside sales or new account business development experience is preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
