Base Salary plus Commission

As a Surface Experts Sales Representative, your job is to find and build relationships with customers who work in property management and facilities maintenance. Our services are unique, so it will be your job to educate and build trust with our customers. We are looking for someone who lives out our core values of Serving Others, Being a Problem Solver and Trusting the Process.

  7. Commission paid on repairs booked and paid over threshold amount, in territory, and non-national warranty accounts. Commission is uncapped.


Job Duties and Responsibilities:


Meeting with 14-20 contacts a day:



  1. On-site visits, phone calls and email follow-ups in a variety of industries including Property Management, Hotels, Movers, Builders, etc.


Maintaining and expanding existing Customer relationships:



  1. Educating on Surface Experts capabilities and limitations.

  2. Enjoying working with people.

  3. Validating level of Customer satisfaction and opportunities to improve.

  4. Earning the trust with our Customers.


Working within a sales team and process:



  1. Memorizing sales scripts and role-playing practice.

  2. Documenting sales activities in CRM; from lead to work order and all steps in between.

  3. Reporting accurately and weekly.

  4. Brainstorming to find new leads and opportunities.


Required Qualifications:



  1. Goal-oriented, self-starter, and energetic.

  2. Licensed to operate a passenger car and have a clean driving record.

  3. Professional, caring and service-minded.

  4. Readiness to work with a metrics-based, process-driven sales team.


Preferred Skills:



  1. General working knowledge of property and/or construction industry.

  2. Experience using CRM tool and process.

  3. Experience working in base + commission environment.
