Job Description:

At Regions, the Enterprise Agile Coach leads and manages the execution of key initiatives of the enterprise Agile transformation strategy. This position has both leadership and management responsibility with potential impact to people, processes, and technology across the organization. Additionally, this position will collaborate with others within the organization in support of an overall Agile transformation.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assists management in setting the strategy and direction of the Agile transformation

  • Provides recommended options for improving agility level

  • Provides leadership and management of the execution of established strategy with team members and peer groups throughout the organization

  • Designs transformational agile training

  • Advances best practices for agile framework

  • Provides coaching and mentoring to agile teams, across all roles, using a variety of agile process frameworks, methods, or practices

  • Develops and tracks progress metrics

  • Offers advice and guidance to Agile Coaches, assisting in the development of necessary skills and contribution to continuous improvement

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

This position is incentive eligible.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in related field and seven (7) years of experience in an agile coaching role

  • Or HS Diploma or GED and eleven (11) years of experience in an agile coaching role

Certifications/Licensures

At least two (2) of the following certifications:

  • Kanban Coaching Professional (KCP)

  • SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE)

  • SAFe SPC certification (SPC)

  • Organization Change Management Certification

Preferences

  • Accredited Kanban Consultant (AKC)

Skills and Competencies

  • Ability to develop, lead, and manage key initiatives

  • Knowledge of Kanban, Lean Software Development, Scrum, and SAFe

  • Knowledge of organizational change management framework and methodology

  • Knowledge of relevant metrics (e.g. work in progress, throughput, cycle time, lead time, flow efficiency)

  • Knowledge of team leadership and work management concepts that support functioning as a hands-on leader, manager, and coach for others

  • Skilled at developing team members in day-to-day operations

  • Skilled at leveraging facilitated conversations to identify Agile transformation change impact and best strategies

  • Skilled at mentoring managers and leaders in supporting and sponsoring large-scale Agile transformation

  • Skilled at translating technical concepts in presentations to management teams and senior leadership teams

  • Strong teaching skills and ability to train audiences varying in size

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the national range and level of the position.

Job Range Target:

Minimum:

$109,762.50 USD

Median:

$155,600.00 USD

Incentive Pay Plans:

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary incentive plan. Employees are eligible to receive a discretionary award based on individual, business, and/or company performance.
