ALCAL SPECIALTY CONTRACTING, INC. IS CURRENTLY ACCEPTING RESUMES FOR A SUPERINTENDENT
POSITION TYPE: Full-Time, Salary
LOCATION: Portland, OR
WAGE SCALE: Depends on experience

RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Supervises a crew of installers, including hiring, terminating, evaluations and disciplinary action.
* Schedules jobs daily and prepares daily load sheets.
* Supervises loading procedures ensuring that installers have proper materials, equipment and safety gear.
* Visits job sites and reviews work in progress in terms of productivity and safety standards.
* Uses daily load sheets and incoming materials to keep accurate inventory control.
* Reviews WIP and plans future projects, ensuring that materials are available.
* Conducts safety meetings on a regular basis, and reviews equipment for maintaining safety standards.
* Up to 50% travel to local job sites
* Abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies and ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
* Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Three years experience installing within the Insulation trade, and one year of supervisory experience highly preferred but not required.
* Experience project managing jobs and crews.
* Experience in the Commercial Construction field strongly desired.
* OSHA 30 certificate desirable.
* Requires good verbal and written communications skills and a professional manner in dealing with customers and employees.
* Valid OR driver's license with a good driving record.
* Regular attendance is required.
