Kforce has a client that is seeking 5 Call Center/Customer Service Representatives in Scarborough, Maine (ME). The start date is as soon as possible. The schedule is Monday-Friday. They have to work an 8-hour shift between 6 AM - 6 PM.
Review Errored Claims and researches guidelines to ensure proper correction, adjustments, or modifications in the appropriate system with documented billing procedures
Maintains active working knowledge of Governmental mandated regulations as it pertains to claim submission
Responsible for contacting Clinical and Health Information Management to obtain information relevant to correcting erred claims
Review and resolve claims that are suspended in Host medical system, billing system, or rejected prior to payer submission daily
Ensures claims are submitted timely and no filing deadlines denials are received
Maintains and improves payer specific edits within Host Medical system and billing system in working towards zero touch claim submission to payers and minimization of biller intervention on generated claims
Works towards accurate and complete account resolution within 120 days of patient discharge
Answer inbound telephone calls, route calls accurately, and perform other duties as assigned
Respond to verbal and/or written inquiries, record details and help resolve complicated customer concerns
Coordinate and expedite customer inquiries to other departments for resolution

Intermediate Excel experience
Strong communication skills
