About this role:

The Office of the Chief Technology Office (OCTO) is hiring a Full Stack Senior Software Engineer to join the OCTO Engineering team. As a Senior Software Engineer on this team supporting our compliance and Governance product areas, you will lead the build out of new applications and microservices, fully leveraging for scale, the tools, platform and services such as dockers, Kubernetes in the cloud environments. You will be empowered to take initiative, propose ideas, and innovate to enable modernization and Cloud adoption. OCTO, is responsible for thought leadership, strategy and building world class cloud enabled software solutions that enable our Banking Product & Platform Architecture to help catapult Wells Fargo to being the leading FinTech player among our industry peers.

In this role, you will:
  • Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
  • Contribute to large scale planning of strategies for .NET web solutions
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document .NET web projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
  • Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
  • Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
Required Qualifications, US:
  • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4+ years of .NET web development experience in C# or F#
  • 1+ years of experience in .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, Polly, or Kestrel
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience leading a microservice-based project
  • API web-based programming experience
  • Cloud experience using Dockers, Kubernetes in Azure is a plus
  • Middleware development experience is a plus
  • SignalR experience is a plus
  • Linux experience is a plus

Pay Range
$100,800.00 - $179,200.00 Annual
