The Clean Energy Accountant of Reporting and Analytics role brings together US federal and state compliance and tax planning analytics for its operational and growth portfolio. The ideal candidate is seeking a dynamic professional opportunity at the crossroads of tax compliance, data analytics and transaction support.

This role will actively engage in and support analyzing data that is of significant importance to the business and its owners. The position also supports tax planning and business transactions, applying both federal and state tax technical and income tax accounting. Successful candidates will demonstrate an ability to think critically, take initiative, and work exceptionally well with tax and non-tax colleagues at all levels within the organization and with its owners.
The position reports to the Senior Manager, US Tax Reporting & Analytics for Clean Energy and will partner closely with other tax professionals of its owners.

Job Details
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Knowledge of the COSO framework
- 6+ years of progressive audit experience, including the design, implementation, and testing of internal controls
- In-depth knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley requirements
- Proven track record of leading projects or engagements and teams
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel, Word and Visio) with the ability to analyze and troubleshoot issues, develop new and adapt existing spreadsheets
- Strong ability to be hands-on, work independently, and remain self-motivated with minimal direct supervision
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong ability to effectively identify problems by framing issues, leveraging data, reaching out to key individuals, and implementing solutions
- Experience at a Big 4 or mid-tier firm a plus
- CIA or CISA licensed or eligible for licensure preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus
- Experience with an industry-standard automated SOX database software a plus
